Everything Unknown has worked privately on screenplays for feature films and major European productions, with first-time directors as well as Academy Award-winning and internationally awarded filmmakers.
The central story problem is rarely what everyone is discussing or trying to solve.
You receive a direct account of what is working, what is not, and why.
Then come questions to help pinpoint what the screenplay wants to be, what prevents it from becoming that, and whether it is being mistaken for another kind of film. Recommendations are offered only when invited or useful.
This is a consultation service. Everything Unknown makes no claim of authorship or ownership in the screenplay or in work developed from the consultation. The project and all resulting material remain entirely the client’s.
One film.
One diagnosis.
- One feature screenplay up to 120 pages* or one complete treatment up to 60 double-spaced pages
- Two complete reads and one independent assessment
- Two hours of private conversation, scheduled as one or two sessions
- A working document following the consultation
*Longer screenplays may be considered in exceptional cases.
What this
is not.
- Written coverage, a report or annotations
- A treatment, rewriting or dialogue polish
- A further read of a revised draft
- Continuing access or consultation by email
Submission and conversation dates are agreed in advance.
Commissions are limited. Only one is active at a time.
Limited series and episodic television may also be considered under separate terms.
